Machining attributes – Engraving

The attribute defines the engraving operation and the associated
machining parameters for the selected figure or for a “free” open or
closed contour.

Assign the “Engraving” machining attribute:

U

Select “Attribute > Machining attribute > Mill >

Engraving” in the finished part menu.

U

Select the contour to be milled. TURN PLUS opens

the “Engraving” dialog box.

U

Define the milling parameters.

Machining attributes – Precision stop

The attribute defines a precision stop for the selected contour
elements or contour sections.

Assign the precision stop:

U

Select “Attribute > Precision stop” in the finished part menu.

U

Select the entire contour, a contour section or individual contour
elements (see “Selections” on page 448).

U

TURN PLUS assigns the machining attribute.

Angle for the tool selection (default 45°)

K

Retraction plane. Cutter position before/after milling (lateral
surface: diameter).
