Defining form elements
Chamfer at corner of threaded shank:

Select “Form > Chamfer.”
U
Select the corner of the threaded shank.
U
“Chamfer” dialog box: Chamfer width = 3 mm
Rounding arcs:
U
Select “Form > Rounding.”
U
Select the corners for the rounding arcs.
U
“Rounding” dialog box: Rounding radius = 2 mm
Undercut:
U
Select “Form > Undercut > Undercut type G.”
U
Select the corner for the undercut.
U
“Undercut type G” dialog box:
Undercut length = 5 mm
Undercut depth = 1.3 mm
Approach angle = 30 °
Recess:
U
Select “Form > Recess > Recess type D.”
U
Select the basic element for the recess.
U
“Recess type D” dialog box:
Reference point (Z) = –30 mm
Recess width (Ki) = –8 mm
Recess diameter = 25 mm
Corners (B): Chamfers; 1 mm
Thread:
U
Select “Form > Thread.”
U
Select the basic element for the thread.
U
“Thread” dialog box: Select “metric ISO thread.”
