10.4 File Organization
Fundamentals for file organization
You can organize NC program files and parameter files with the Copy,
Delete and Rename functions. The Print function is additionally
available for ASCII files.
The organization functions are used for CNC PILOT files and, under the
following conditions, also for files of the communications partner
(external files):
„ “WINDOWS Network” data transfer method or USB storage
medium
„ Log in as “System Manager”
Information in the file list:
„ File names and extensions (*.NC = main program; *.NCS =
subprogram; etc.)
„ File size in bytes (enclosed in [...])
„ Attribute
„ r/w: read and write
„ ro: read only
„ Date and time of last change
„ For NC main programs, the “Drawing” line from the program head
is also displayed.
