Select “Workpiece > Blank > Bar.” TURN PLUS opens the “Bar”
dialog box.
U
Inputs:
Diameter = 60 mm
Length = 80 mm
Oversize = 2 mm
U
TURN PLUS displays the workpiece blank.
U
Press the ESC key to return to the main menu.
Defining the basic contour
U
Select “Workpiece > Finished part (> Contour).”
U
“Point” dialog box (starting point of contour):
Enter X = 0; Z = 0
U
Enter X = 16
U
Enter Z = –25
U
Enter X = 35
U
Enter Z = –43
U
Enter X = 58; W = 70
U
Enter Z = –76
U
Press the ESC key to go back one menu level.
U
Press the ESC key. TURN PLUS asks whether you
want to close the contour.
U
Press “Yes.” TURN PLUS creates the basic contour.
