Parallel editing

The CNC PILOT runs up to eight NC program/subprograms in parallel
and provides up to three editing windows.

Editing window: Set full-size or multiple windows:

U

Set full-size window

U

Set multiple windows (whether two or three windows

is set in the configuration)

Switch the editing window:

U

Press the soft key, or

U

use the touchpad to click the desired window

Change the NC program:

U

Press the soft key

U

Press the soft key, or

U

use the touchpad to click the NC program in the NC

program bar.

Selecting submenus, positioning the cursor

The submenus can be called by

U

selecting the desired menu item

U

positioning the cursor in the respective program

section

U

Press the ESC key to return to the main menu.

When you call the menu items Geometry,Processing, “Turret
assignment” or “Chucking equipment,” the CNC PILOT jumps to the
corresponding program section.

When you position the cursor in the BLANK, FINISHED PART or
MACHINING section, the CNC PILOT switches to the corresponding
submenu.

Position the cursor:

U

“Prog > Prog(ram) start” positions to the beginning of

the program

U

“Prog > Prog(ram) end” positions to the end of the

program

U

With the cursor keys or PgUp or PgDn
