Motion Error
This section deals with the content of errors occurring in the motion functions, and the
methods for dealing with them.
Outline of Motion Errors
Errors related to MP940 motion are classified as either of two types: motion
program detection alarms, and axis alarms detected in servo amplifier units.
Fault locations may be pinpointed, and countermeasures executed by
checking the content of the alarm output register (set the register in the group
definition screen) for motion program alarms, and the monitor parameter
“Alarm (ILxx22)” for axis alarms.
