Phase Control

Phase control is used to rotate an axis according to the transmitted speed
command, while at the same time excersizing strict control to a given number
of rotations. Electronic camming and electronic shafting can be achieved
using this control mode.

Complex device configurations can be alternated by the servo motors, and
phase matching, synchronous run, proportional run, and variable-speed cam
run can all be switched by the software. The figure below depicts a
schematic diagram of electronic camming/electronic shafting.

The order of operations in the phase control mode is shown below.
