(Design of a CE−typical drive system)

The drives comply with the EC Directive on "Electromagnetic Compatibility" if they are
installed in accordance with the specifications for the CE−typical drive system. The user is
responsible for the compliance of the machine application with the EC Directive.

Note!

Control cables and mains cables must be separated from the motor cable to
avoid interference injections.

ƒ

Always use shielded control cables.

ƒ

Generally we recommend to shield the cable for the PTC or thermal contact
and route it separately from the motor cable.

ƒ

If you route the cores for the motor connection and the cores for the
connection of the PTC or thermal contact within one cable with a common
shield:
– To reduce interference injections on the PTC cable we recommend to

additionally install the PTC kit type E82ZPEx.

Optimum HF shield connection of the motor cable is obtained by using the
terminal
