Tunnel Interface Commands

interface tunnel

Use the interface tunnel command in Global Configuration mode to enter

the interface configuration mode for a tunnel.

Syntax

interface tunnel

tunnel-id

no interface tunnel

tunnel-id

tunnel-id

— Tunnel identifier. (Range: 0–7)

Default Configuration

This command has no default configuration.

Command Mode

Global Configuration mode.

User Guidelines

This command has no user guidelines.

Example

The following example enables the interface configuration mode for tunnel 1.

console(config)#interface tunnel 1

console(config-if-tunnel1)#

show interfaces tunnel

Use the show interfaces tunnel command in Privileged EXEC mode to

display the parameters related to tunnel such as tunnel mode, tunnel source

address and tunnel destination address.

Syntax

show interfaces tunnel [

tunnel-id

]

tunnel-id

— Tunnel identifier. (Range: 0–7)
