Viewing basic user information

To view the basic information about a user:

1.

Navigate to Users > All Users:

a.

Click the User tab from the tabular navigation system on the top.

b.

Click User Management on the navigation tree on the left.

c.

Click All Users under User Management from the navigation system on the left.
IMC displays all users in the User List displayed in the main pane of the All Users page.

Click the name link of a user to enter the Basic User Information page.

3.

The Basic Information area displays the user basic information, including:

User Name: Contains the user name. A user name can be used by multiple users.

Identity Number: Contains the identity number of the user. IMC uses user name + identity
number to uniquely identify a user.

Contact Address: Contains the contact address of the user.

{

Telephone: Contains the telephone number of the user.

{

Email: Contains the email address of the user.

{

User Group: Contains the user group to which the user belongs. For users not belonging to any
user group, this field displays Ungrouped.

The Additional Information area displays the user additional information:
If the additional information is provided when the user is added, this field displays the configured
value. If not, this field displays the default value.

The Account Information area displays the account information of the user, including:

Open Account: Displays whether or not the user has opened a self-service account, Yes or No.

Account Name: Contains the self-service account name. This field is available only when the Open
Account field displays Yes.

6.

The Account Groups area displays the account group information of the user. One self-service
account can be assigned to multiple account groups.
This area appears only for users who have opened self-service accounts.

7.

The Account Permissions area displays the permissions of self-service account, which is the
collection of the permissions granted to the user account itself and those granted to its account

groups.

Managing a user from the basic user information page

Operators can manage a user from the convenience of the Action menu located on the upper right

corner of the Basic User Information page. The Action menu provides the following management

options:
Refresh

With the Refresh option, operators can reload the current basic user information page and capture
any updates to the user information.

To refresh the current basic user information page, click the Refresh link in the Action menu.

Delete User

Click the Delete link in the Action menu. A confirmation box appears. Click OK to delete the user.
