Select one or more device groups in the Device Group List. The security control policy takes

actions to all devices that belong to the selected groups.

Click Next to enter the Action Settings page to set the action strategy and the actions that the policy
can take.

Select one of the following options as the strategy for SCC to use when executing actions defined
in the security check policy:

Execute actions in sequence if all action variables are valid, or execute none of the actions if any
action variable is invalid: If all action variables read by SCC are correct, SCC executes actions in

sequence. If one or more variables are incorrect, SCC does not execute any action.

Execute actions in sequence and skip actions with invalid variables: SCC executes actions in
sequence and skips incorrect variables.

Stop executing actions if one action is successfully executed: SCC executes actions in sequences
and stops executing actions immediately after it successfully executes one action.

Click Select Action to the right of the Action List.

If you selected a new attack alarm or event type to process, re-enter all actions for this policy. Click
Select Action to the right of the Action List.
The Select Action dialog box appears.

Click the checkboxes to the left of the actions you want to execute.
The actions available vary by attack alarm type.

Click the checkbox to the right of the Action List to select all Actions.

Click OK.

To add another action, repeat Steps 22 through 26.
Some actions may have parameters that must be configured before IMC can execute them. If they
do, the Configure icon displays in the Configure Parameters field of the associated action in the

Action and Order list.

Click the Configure icon to configure the parameters for the associated action.
You are prompted to configure any parameters that have not been configured before you can save
your modifications to the security control policy.

For the Email action, enter the following configuration parameters in the Parameter configurations
for mail sender dialog box.

Destination Mail Address: Enter the fully qualified email address of the recipient of this email alert

in the Destination Mail Address field.

Mail Subject: Enter a brief subject for this email in the Mail Subject field.

Mail Content: Enter the content that you want to appear in the main body of the email in the Mail
Content field.

Click OK.

For the Warn action, enter the following configuration parameters in the Send Message dialog
box.

Enter the message that you want to appear on the online user's browser in the Send Message
field.

The message length is limited to 60 characters.

d.

Click OK to send the message to the online user.
