By default, no account group is displayed in the account group list.

b.

Enter the account group query criteria, group name or description, and click Query. All
matching entries are displayed in the account group list.
If you click Query without entering a query criterion, all account groups are displayed.

c.

Click Clear Results to clear the query criteria, and no account group is displayed.

d.

Select an account group, or click the box next to the Group Name field to select all account
groups, and then click OK.
All selected account groups are displayed in the Account Groups area.

e.

Click the Remove icon of an account group to delete the account group.

Configure permissions for the self-service account.
The self-service account permissions are used for the SOM self-service platform.
When only User Selfservice Management component is deployed, no permission is displayed.
When the Guest Access Management or SOM component is deployed, relevant permissions are

displayed. Operators can select the permissions for the self-service account.

Click OK. The Add User Result page appears.

Perform one of the following:

Click Back To User List to return to the user list page.

Click Have A Look At User Detail to view detailed information about the newly added user.

Click Continue To Add User to return to Step 3, and then repeat steps 3 through 7 to add more
users.

Importing users in batches

To improve efficiency, operators can import users in batches from a file that contains user information.

The import file must contain at least the following user attributes: user name, identity number, open

account name, and account password, and these attributes must be imported from the file to IMC. IMC
supports importing only text files.
To import users in batches:

1.

Navigate to Users > Import Users:

a.

Click the User tab from the tabular navigation system on the top.

b.

Click User Management on the navigation tree on the left.

c.

Click Import Users under User Management from the navigation system on the left.
The Import Users page appears.

Click Browse to locate the import file.
The file must be in TXT format, and must contain the same number of columns in each row.

3.

Select a column separator.
Options include Space, TAB, comma (,), colon (:), pound sign (#), and dollar sign ($). The selected
separator must be the same as that is used in the import file. Otherwise, the system prompts an

error message.

4.

Click Next to enter the page for configuring user information.
