Expand the monitor group you want to select monitor items from by clicking the arrow icon

to the left of the monitor group.

Click the checkbox to the left of the monitor item(s) you want to monitor.

f.

Click OK.

g.

Confirm that the indexes now appear in the Select Index field.

h.

Click Select in Select Instances area.
The Select Devices dialog box appears.
Add devices by View or by the Advanced query option. See "

Adding devices by View

" and

Adding devices by Advanced query

."

i.

Expand the monitor instance by clicking the arrow icon to the left of the device name in the
Select Instances field.

j.

Confirm that the monitor instances now appear in the Select Instances field.

k.

Click the box next to the monitor instance to be monitored.

l.

Click OK.

m.

Confirm that the monitor instances now appear in the Monitor Instance Information field

7.

Click OK to create the new monitor graph.
There is no performance monitor data in a new monitor graph.

Modifying a monitor graph

To modify a Monitor Graph:

1.

Navigate to Resource > Real-Time Monitoring:

a.

Click the Resource tab from the tabular navigation system on the top.

b.

Click the Performance Management link on the navigation tree on the left.

c.

Click

Real-Time Monitoring under Performance Management from the navigation system

on the left.
The Real-Time Monitoring window appears.

2.

Click Set located in the upper right corner of the monitor graph you want to modify.

3.

Select Modify from the menu that appears.
The Modify Monitor Graph dialog box appears. Graph Title cannot be modified.

4.

Enter a new name for the monitor item of this graph in the Y-Axis Name field.

5.

Enter a new unit for the monitor item of this graph in the Y-Axis Unit field.

6.

Do one of the following:

Click the Add Monitor Instance button located in the Monitor Instance Information area to
add the new monitor instances.

In the Monitor Instance Information area, click the Remove icon for a monitor instance to
delete the monitor instance. Click Delete All located in the upper part of the Monitor Instance

Information area to delete all monitor instances.
Click OK to confirm the deletion.

7.

Click OK to confirm your changes.
If you change the monitor instances in a monitor graph, the existing performance data in the
monitor graph is cleared.
