View the change before and after deployment: With this option, IMC displays the configuration

changes contained in the template you have selected before and after the changes have been
applied.

Deployment Stopped. The configuration running on the device is not consistent with the latest
running configuration backed up by IMC: With this option, IMC stops deploying a

configuration file if the device's current running configuration does not match the most current

running configuration file IMC has for the device.

Before deployment, back up the device's running configuration to IMC: With this option, IMC
makes a backup copy of the running configuration of all devices configured to receive the
configuration template. This option provides the operator with a copy of the most current

running configuration for backing out of the configuration template deployment if problems

occur.

Before deployment, save the device's running configuration as a startup configuration: With
this option, IMC makes a backup copy of the running configuration of all devices and save it as

the startup configuration to the device. This option also provides the operator with a current
startup configuration for backing out of the configuration template deployment if problems

occur.

After deployment, back up the device's running configuration to IMC: This option instructs IMC
to copy the new running configuration to IMC.

After deployment, save the device's running configuration as a startup configuration: This
option instructs IMC to save the device's running configuration as the new startup configuration

to IMC after deployment is complete.

If you selected Startup Configuration in the File Type to be Deployed field, the following options
are displayed. Select options you want to apply to this deployment task.

Backup the current startup configuration file of the device: This option instructs IMC to save the
current startup configuration to IMC.

{

Restart device after deployment: This option instructs IMC to reboot the selected devices after
the configuration template is deployed.

Click Next.
The page will update to display the next stage in deploying a configuration file, Set Task Attribute.

Enter a name for this task in the Task Name field.

13.

Select the type of deployment schedule you want to apply to this task from the Schedule Type
dropdown list. Options include Once and Cycle. Select Once if you want IMC to execute this task

one time. Select Cycle if you want this configuration deployment task to be executed on a

scheduled basis.

14.

If you selected Once in the Schedule Type field, select the time you want IMC to execute this task
from the Schedule Time dropdown list: Immediately or Scheduled. If you selected Scheduled, click
the field to populate the date and time for the execution of this task.

15.

If you selected Cycle from the Schedule Type dropdown list, complete the following steps:

a.

Select the frequency with which you want IMC to execute this task from the Operation
Frequency dropdown list: Every Day, Every Week or Every Month.

b.

Select the date of the week or day of the month you want IMC to execute this task from the
dropdown list to the right of the Operation Frequency dropdown list.

c.

Enter the time you want IMC to execute this task in the field to the far right of the Operation
Frequency dropdown list. Enter the time in HH:MM:SS format where HH denotes a two digit

hour value, MM denotes a two digit minute value and SS denotes a two digit second value.
